Aira ("we", "us", "our") is the trading name of a sole proprietorship registered in Georgia, which owns and operates this site and is the provider of everything sold here. By buying or downloading anything from this site you accept the terms below. Please read them before you buy.
1. What we sell
We sell THE LAST ONE, Book One of the Aira cycle: a post-apocalyptic detective novel of roughly 80,000 words by Ivo Renn, together with its visual companion, a 63-page album of the world the novel is set in. One purchase includes three files:
- the novel as a reflowable EPUB, for e-readers, tablets and phones
- the novel as a PDF, laid out like a printed book
- THE LAST ONE · Visual Companion, a landscape PDF album.
This is a digital product. Nothing physical is shipped.
2. Price and payment
The price is $5 USD for all three files. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live, and the final amount is always shown before you pay.
Orders are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Paddle is the seller on your receipt and on your card statement. Paddle's own terms of use apply to the payment itself, alongside these terms. We never see or store your card details.
3. Delivery
Delivery is immediate. The moment your payment goes through, checkout sends you to a download page holding all three files, and Paddle emails you a receipt with your order number on it. Download the files there and then, and bookmark the page if you want to come back to it.
If you lose the page, write to hello@justaira.com from the address you bought with, quoting the order number on your receipt, and we will send you the link again. We answer within three working days.
The download page is personal to your purchase. Passing its address to anyone else is sharing the files, and clause 5 applies.
4. What you may do with the book
When you buy, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to read and keep the book. You may:
- read it on any devices you personally own
- keep your own backup copies
- print a copy of the PDF for your own private use
- quote short passages in a review, with attribution.
5. What you may not do
- share, upload, resell, sublicense or give away the files
- remove or alter the text, the illustrations or any notice in the files
- use the text or the illustrations commercially, including as training data for machine learning systems
- create and distribute translations or adaptations without our written permission.
You own your copy. You do not own the work. Copyright in the text and the illustrations stays with the author.
6. Refunds
You have 14 days to change your mind, no questions asked. Write to us within 14 days of your purchase and we refund you in full, whether or not you have already downloaded the files. The details are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Availability and changes
We may update the files, for example to correct an error, and we may change the price of future sales at any time. Changes to the price never affect a purchase you have already made. If a file is materially revised after your purchase, we will send the updated file to the address you bought with.
8. Liability
The book is sold as a work of fiction, for reading. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights in your own country.
9. Contact
Write to hello@justaira.com for anything at all: a file that will not open, a lost download page, a refund, or a question before you buy. We answer within three working days, and we answer every email from a person.
